Independent tech reviews
Power bank and charger reviews from real experts
Honest reviews of power banks, GaN chargers, USB-C cables and travel tech. We are not paid to recommend anything.

What we do
SmartGadgetKit publishes independent power bank and charger reviews for readers in the UK, US and Europe, alongside USB-C cables and travel tech. Every recommendation is checked against the manufacturer’s specifications and the regional Amazon listing, then corroborated with named third-party testing, and we draw on hands-on use of the kit we own. No brand pays us for a recommendation, and we say plainly when we have not tested a unit ourselves.
Our reviewers are Alan, a network engineer with nine years in the field, and Darleene, a nurse based in Singapore who lives with this gear through long days and busy bags. Together they tell you what is worth buying, what to skip, and why, without the hype.

How we test, and how we stay independent
We do not just repeat spec sheets. Every figure is cross-checked against the manufacturer and the regional Amazon listing, corroborated with named third-party testing, and weighed against hands-on use of the gear we own. When we have not tested a unit ourselves, we say so. You can read the full method on our how we test page.
